The cooperation between the Anhalt University of Applied Sciences and the O.S. Popov Odesa National Academy of Telecommunications (ONAT) was founded in May 2013 and is very successful. During this time, two English-language double degree programs in the master’s area (Communication and Embedded Systems, Data Science) and a German-language bachelor double degree program (electrical engineering and information technology) have been established. About 50 students have received their degrees within the framework of these programs and are active in German and Ukrainian companies. As part of the DigIn.net project, ONAT takes on the role of the regional network interface and establishes itself as the location for top Ukrainian-European higher education.
The Odesa National Polytechnic University (ONPU) is known for its strong mechanical engineering profile. With the German Technical Faculty, where most of the specialist teaching takes place in German, it sees itself as a link in technical cooperation between Ukraine and Germany. As part of the project, the university wants to further expand the digital methods in mechanical engineering.
The National Technical University of Ukraine “Igor Sikorski Kyiv Polytechnic Institute” (КРІ) serves as the contact for the project in the north of Ukraine. The КРІ uses innovative digitalization tools to connect to the latest developments in information and communication technology and to expand their international cooperation together.
